ماهواره سیروس 3 هم بعد از مدتی که بعنوان بکاپ این جهت 4.8 درجه شرقی بعد
از اومدن سیروس چهار(نام جدیدش astra 4A)استفاده می شد حالا به 51 درجه
شرقی رفته و در این جهت می خواد سرویس دهی کنه و مثل اینکه در انتهای کار
خودش هست. این ستلایت کار خودش رو در 5 اکتبر 1998 در این جهت برای پوشش
منطقه بالکان و قسمتی از اروپا شروع کرد و بعد از 13 سال به نظر می یاد
کمپانی SES Astra صاحب اصلی اون تا الان برنامه ای براش نداره و پایان عمرش
فرار رسیده. برای این ماهواره از نسل سوم سیروس که سوئدیست 12 سال عمر
مفید هنگام طراحی و ساختش پیش بینی کرده بودند و انگار در انتهای سوختش هست
